29th National Gathering of Fire Guards of the National Fire Service – ODV (ANVVF)
From 4 to 7 June, the 29th National Gathering of the National Association of Firefighters of the National Fire Service – ODV (ANVVF). The event coincides with the 50th anniversary of the 1976 earthquake, a symbolic occasion to commemorate the Fire Brigade’s commitment to the rescue operations that contributed to the birth of the modern Italian Civil Protection. The 2026 Gathering will be dedicated not only to the memory of that experience, but also to the Corps’ founding values: service, professionalism, solidarity and cohesion.
The programme includes four days divided into official ceremonies, moments of reflection, public meetings and initiatives of a community and family nature in Udine and Gemona, towns symbolising the rebirth following the earthquake.
