Cividale of Friuli where art, history and contemporary life

As part of Mittelfest 2026, a guided tour will take visitors on a journey of discovery through three major museums in Cividale del Friuli. The tour will wind its way through the National Archaeological Museum of Cividale del Friuli, which houses artefacts from the Lombard city, the MUCRIS – the Christian Museum and Cathedral Treasury, which houses extraordinary masterpieces of Lombard art and precious works of sacred art, and the De Martiis Gallery, a space dedicated to modern and contemporary art.A journey through different eras, languages and cultures, exploring the unique identity of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and historic crossroads of Central Europe.
